ABOUT ME

I have a background in what is now called, "traditional communications." I spent most of these years working in the roles of public relations and publications director for both public and private educational institutions, with a swing through international business. I recently spent two years of my life involved in elementary school-level teaching. My goal at the end of the day was to teach kids how to think and how to write. I love to write. I love how the delicate winding of words can bring a reader into another realm and push the limits of their imagination.

I am an accomplished photographer. I learned the art of graphic and publication design before the ease of online publishing. I love public speaking and I look forward to hitting the circuit and meeting my readers.

And, before I forget, I am a trained cultural anthropologist. My understanding and study of human culture definitely directs my writing-for in some situations there are no gray areas. I hope my dash of Christianity and religious symbolism, sprinkled with social issues and morals, will lead my readers to, at the very least, some interesting thoughts and conversations.
